Inline Compose Heading To Your Tumblr Page

When Twitter is too short and Facebook has too many judgmental friends from high school, there’s Tumblr to share your deepest thoughts and most hilarious GIFs. Now the social blogging platform is streamlining the way you post photos of your cats.

Tumblr started rolling out an inline composition feature in the Dashboard to users on Thursday. Now when you add a new post to your feed, instead of being pushed to a new page away from all the awesome posts of your Tumblr friends, you can post directly in the Dashboard view.
One of the cooler features is the ability to drag and drop photos directly into a post and drag that photo into any arraignment in said post.

Tumblr told Wired via email that the new feature will be rolling out to all users over the next couple days. So by next week you’ll be able to quickly post your Fringe fan fiction in a manner that resembles Facebook and Twitter posts.
